Pardon our dust

Early draft, I'm sure. I will likely be changing some stuff. Dunno for sure what the sound is going to be like yet but my buddy Corey Stroud says it's gonna have to be country. I think it could be rockabilly though. Or maybe any other genre, really. If anyone has musical composition skills and ideas, lemme know.

You’re stopping into my café, and you're gonna be denied.

I regret the inconvenience.

The drive thru window's open, but I can't let you inside.

I've learned too much to give you lenience.

Please understand the situation.

You weren't the first to walk this floor.

I must avoid the complication

That tore me down before.

 

My heart is closed for renovations

But the quick serv's on the shelf

The coffee's in a paper cup

Feel free to sweeten it yourself…

I know I may be tryin’ your patience

while I’m undergoing reparations

But my heart is closed.

Was going on before you came

You're not the one who caused destruction

But once destroyed, it's all the same
